Match the network on both sides before you send

Before any crypto moves, the network on the sending screen and the receiving side should match, and you should read both names yourself.

Before you move crypto, pick the network on purpose. The sending screen and the receiving side should show the same network name. When I move money with someone, we read that name out loud, because saying it slows you down enough to notice a mismatch.

Where an AI chatbot fits

An AI chatbot can explain what a network is in general. It cannot see your screens. You read the network name on the sending screen and on the receiving side yourself, and the decision stays with you.

The order I use

  1. Open the receiving side first and note which network it expects.
  2. Choose that same network on the sending screen.
  3. Read both names out loud. They should match.
  4. Send a small test amount before the rest.

The free steps for moving funds live on the Security page, and Start Here is the place to begin if this is your first withdrawal. If you want a second set of eyes, consulting works the same way: we do a test send first and we read the network name out loud.
